My Story

Hello, I’m Anna.
High end design goes beyond aesthetics – it’s about creating spaces that nurture well-being, balance, and joy. My own wellness journey has shown me how vital our surroundings are to our sense of peace and positivity. This inspires me to design spaces that are not just beautiful, but also deeply personal and restorative – places where you feel safe, secure, and truly at home.
I’ve always loved a good story – and beautiful things. I bring these passions together to create interiors that reflect your unique story. Every detail, from the design choices to the items you treasure, plays a role in creating a space that feels authentic and meaningful.
My journey into design began with 16 years in the superyachting industry, where I worked both onboard and as an owner’s representative in shipyard construction. These experiences honed my eye for detail and my ability to balance luxury with functionality in high-stakes projects. Along the way, I earned a BA Hons from the National Design Academy, UK, and completed an internship with Darnet Design, the superyacht designer.
In 2018, while traveling the world with my partner and living between yachts and Airbnbs, I launched my interior design blog, Flamingo Cocktail. This chapter expanded my creative horizons and enhanced my ability to connect with clients globally. After freelancing and offering remote e-design services during the pandemic, I moved to Brittany in 2024 and officially established Studio Ishiki.
Ishiki = Consciousness
The name “Ishiki” means consciousness – a reflection of my commitment to mindful, intentional design. My holistic approach considers every aspect of a space, from sustainable practices to creating positive energy flow. Disciplines like Feng Shui and colour psychology, inspire my work and deepen my ability to design spaces that truly support your well-being.
Living in many different places around the world has shaped my understanding of “home.” I believe home isn’t just a physical space – it’s a feeling of comfort, connection, and belonging. This belief drives my passion for creating sanctuaries that celebrate who you are, whether it’s your residence, a short-term rental, or yacht.
My Design Philosophy
At the heart of my design philosophy is a belief that relationships and connection are what matter most. Design is about more than how a room looks – it’s about how it makes you feel, how it nurtures your relationships, and how it brings people together. Of course, I also adore beautiful things (who doesn’t?), but they shine brightest when they have meaning and soul.
At Studio Ishiki, I believe every home tells a story, and every person who lives there is the author. My role is to craft a bespoke narrative through thoughtful, intentional design that reflects who you are, celebrates your journey, and supports your well-being.
I see interiors as more than just spaces—they’re timeless canvases for your life. Every detail, from the architecture of your home to the curated treasures within it, holds meaning. It’s about weaving together the story of your home, the people who inhabit it, and the objects they cherish to create a space that feels both beautiful and deeply personal.
If you’re ready to create a sanctuary that supports your well-being and reflects your unique style and story, I’d love to bring your vision to life. Explore my services to see how we can work together.
